"Donna" MY16 L405 rolled 100K on the way to a client today - on the way home she rolled 100,100...



In "Celebration" - the Heads Up Display has started turning itself off?!?!?

I was stuck in Atlanta Traffic and looked down to notice I had no HUD.
Menu - tick the box... comes back on with kind of a warning looking screen - HUD Initializing...
Worked for - maybe 10 mins - then I noticed it was back off. This time I noted the time and it was about 10 mins...

Turned it back on and it went off within a minute... Do these things get hot?
I am now spoiled to the HUD - I want it to work!!!

There is a cooling fan for the HUD
Might be overheating if fan not working
If there is a fault Im sure it would come up in the trouble codes
Not sure if the hud can be reset indivuiduly or not
software update might cure the problem

I have the hud on my vehicle and could not do without it so I can feel your pain  Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where,s the f**king ceiling!!

This morning it was 34F(1ishC) ran for 1hour from 7:00 - 8:00. Stopped to top up the diesel ⛽ it came back on for 5 mins...

I think you're right. Must be a gimpy fan dammit!
On another note... The L494 console came in. Just need pins!
