Stationary Voltage.

L405 2017 4.4 AB. My new tracker has been producing false alerts and the supplier, having checked it out, advises that he has seen the tracker receiving a voltage as high as 13.46 when the vehicle is at rest. The tracker's trigger is 13.4 volts (which explains the false alerts) and I wonder if this is typical 'resting voltage' or might it indicate a fault? I don't want him to increase the tracker's trigger voltage if I need to be attending to something else first.
I'd much appreciate any advice from anyone who has experienced anything similar. Thanks in anticipation.

By "at rest" do you mean with the engine still running though? FFRR SDV8 Autobiography

No James. I mean when parked up, shut down and locked up. I think 14.5 v is not unusual when the eng8ne is running but I don't know how high the voltage can go when it's not running.

Thank you Phoenix. I'll need to ask the question of the fitter, but the vehicle had been switched off for more than 24 hours before a false alert. Would that make a difference?

Thanks for your advice. I'll need to do some checking with the fitters, now, and establish what they chose to do. It looks as if I may need to get the tracker reinstalled.
