Try Bodsy, excellent gearbox service and he'll come to you on the drive, did mine in Manchester. RR owner |

I seem to recall that most machines can do 6 speed boxes but there's something about the 8 speed that requires some specific feature on the machine. This was from D3/D4 world so may not apply. You could ask on the Discovery forum. Someone there would know. 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

I wouldn't trust a cheap box hooked up to an auto tranny . Wrong pressures etc and you could be facing a very expensive bill. The 8spd is pretty robust and trouble free so just do a normal service which is a fairly easy DIY job - sump and fluid. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

You need a machine that matches not just the pressure, but also the oil flow out of the gearbox

Probably why ZF don't advise 'flushing' as doing it wrong will cause damage. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

ZF do advise flushing, but refer to it as a transmission rinse |
