I have a 2018 3.0 and Adrian Flux charged £700 last year. This year they want £5400!!
When I phoned to reduce mileage from 9k to 7k and reduce value, the quote went up to £11000!

I,m seeing lots of reports that its coming down now so shop around.

Ocean you should be able to get Insurance for under £1k those quotes are way out.

AF quoted my renewal at £1200 I went to Admiral £700. overfinch modified

My insurance was £1,300 last year which I thought was a ripoff and due to the fact I needed to insure it within the week. This year I was quite worried but it came in at £1,400... with Esure Flex.

I had to increase the voluntary excess to £1,000 so £1,650 in total.

But I would only claim if its a big one anyway!

just done my renewal, Ive been with Swiftcover for years and their renewal went from 650 last year to 1275 this year.

I did the comparison sites and they didn't come out much better. I had checked a few month back before xmas and the best price was with Darwin at 700ish. post xmas for a feb renewal the best on the comparison sites was 1025.

Went back to Swiftcover and told them about the comparison prices and they couldn't do anything to match them. Ended up with Admiral mid range policy for 1080, which is terrible but not as bad as it could be. Ive just done a comparison and there's none better than 1100. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Just had my renewal quote through from Halifax insurance - last year £440, this time around they want £960! and thats with 10+ years protected no claims etc etc - 10 year old SDV8
