External temperature on instrument cluster

My 2016 does not show the external temperature on the instrument cluster, just the snow flake. If i go to climate control in the main screen it shows it?? My wifes 2014 also shows it. I read through the owners manual and checked online but can't find a thing. Thanks in advance!!
