Hello, I am getting my Style 19 wheels powder coated and diamond turned. Planning to ceramic coat to try to preserve.

I need to pick a powdercoat colour, does anyone have a colour code or name they could recommend, maybe with pics. The stock is quite worn so I only realised they were diamond cut on close inspection.

I think the attached image is the look I am going for, unless any other suggestions?

My wheels are exactly as in your first photo, diamond cut turbine.
The powder coated wheel colour is Corris Grey.

The style 19 wheels were available in 2 finishes. You had a choice of diamond cut or shadow chrome.

Diamond cut is a nightmare to maintain and they always seem to start going cloudy on the diamond cut surfaces under the lacquer.

My 5.0 came from the factory with the shadow chrome wheels on it so I’m going to get them refinished in the original colour.

Thanks guys, I expected shadow chrome to look slightly darker than those photos, that could be an option.

I was tempted to do a full powdercoat, but think I will keep the stock design for these in case the powder looks weird on the sharp corners. I might regret it if it gets whiteworm after a year, but the diamond cuts on my other car have held up very well for 80k miles (I wax them to look after similar to the paintwork, and avoid the harsh chemicals).

Shadow chrome is (or should be) pretty light.

Black chrome or anthracite chrome will be darker choices. 2012 (L322) 4.4TDV8 Vogue SE, RSE, Fuji White over Arabica.

Thanks Stan, yes interesting thread, definitely a sparkly grey I want so you can see they are diamond cut, I am just a bit scared of going too dark on it! I will send the coater a picture with the lightish grey
