Just bought my first Range Rover 2014 5.0 supercharged

Hi everyone,

New to the forum, so go easy.
I’ve just bought a 2014 LWB 5.0 supercharged autobiography/overfinch.
Didn’t do any research, bit of an impulse buy.
Cars on 71k miles, drives great. Really loving it so far.
Could anyone advise on any preventative maintenance etc?
Is the engine generally reliable?
Any thoughts/advice warmly welcomed.
Cheers,
Will

I have no idea about what to do preventative wise.

But i love the idea of an impulse purchase 5.0sc and a LWB! you only live once. Looking forward to some pics.

I have always thought the petrols are so much simpler and less gunk to mess things up plus rarely stressed. I just haven't been brave enough just yet.

Enjoy and welcome.

As the owner of a 2016 5.0SC I share your enjoyment of the petrol goodness and do not worry about the fuel economy.
It really is not that bad.........get carried away on short town journies and it will be low teens. Out of town with a light right foot then I get typically 22.5 m.p.g. or so, but I would suggest if you are worried about economy then it is not the car for you.
Things to look out for? Nothing specifically as far as I am aware, usual caveats with respect to deferring maintenence and such.
I get mine serviced and looked after by Craig at Cam Tech who is excellent, so would suggest you hunt around for a good independent local to you and then follow their advice.
It really is such a great place to be .............just go and enjoy it.
