Take the L322. I did 2000 miles to the alps and back and it never missed a beat. We arrived relaxed, fresh and ski ready. I took £99 euro cover as a precaution but of course didn't need it! Mad

I've just come back from a quick trip to Holland, the last time I drove it there was an error and it transpired to be a failed intercooler hose, new hoses and off we go, no worries, didn't miss a beat.
With all the maintenance you have done at least you can be fairly sure on what bits won't fail..

5. £570 Road Tax


Currently awaiting new TCU under warranty.

Not much in 11 years of ownership but about to spend between 1 and 2 grand on sills and wheel arch repairs. Mustn't grumble. Previous cars:
S-Max 2007-2013 (only diesel I've had, good car but expensive when diesely bits go wrong, so what's the point?)
