2010 steering angle sensor

Hi, Replacing my steering angle sensor on 2010 HSE

I am trying to remove the steering angle sensor and am aware of the bolts to undo, but the lower dash looks like it needs to be removed.....
How is this done?
I have the underside panel off, and the side of the console off.
Any suggestions anyone?

Looks like I have to take half of the dash apart.
Oh well. Here I go.

3 hours later, dash apart, and many wire harness opened, got it out. Replaced steering angle sensor, and put it all back together 2 hours later.
Now just need to get the new part added through programming at the shop,
Wish me luck, otherwise something else deeper....
