wind noise

Sound deadening .I'm on my 5th L32 and wondered if you guys could help.
I'm pretty sure that there was a solid block of foam when you opened the bonnet close to the windscreen and door which I guess was there to stop wind noise. There is certainly a residue of glue and foam you can see where it would have been. Can anyone tell me if there is a part number so I can order a replacement.
Compared to battery drain, air suspension, gear box faults this probably sounds an anal request but my 2011. 4.4 Vogue SE is definitely a keeper and my pride and joy so if you can help this "anorak" I would be grateful.

I can't help you with part numbers I'm afraid, but my foam blocks went the way of many and turned into soggy rust trap sponges so I removed them. no discernible difference in wind noise whatsoever. Drives:

If you search the forum you will find a post about this. The general consensus was that the Foam did not help with wind noise but someone had the part numbers up there. I was searching the same thing as I had annoying noise, most of which is the rubber seal on the window and tyres.

Those foam blocks were quite expensive. For me priority is quieter tyres before the years is out. Current yokes

There was a discussion here with part pictures :

Mixed opinions as to what they were for but they are still in place on mine and in good condition. TDV8 4.4 2012

Many thanks I am amazed at how helpful the folks on this site are. Its basically a trivial matter but important to an anal 322 owner like me.
