Poseidon 10" Head Unit - Boot Logo

Did anybody else purchase one of the above?

If so, do you know how to change the Boot Logo (from Android to Land Rover)?

The video captured from the now defunct website shows an option in the "Settings Menu" that refers to "Boot Logo". The version I have, has this option replaced with "Screen Settings", which seems to refer to voltage setting and nothing to do with the Boot Logo.

I did think that the setting may have been moved to "Factory Settings", but I can’t find that either!

I’ve spent the afternoon trawling the internet, but can’t find anything even vaguely similar to this item that I could use as a reference.

TIA

Many thanks.

I did see that on the web, but it’s a completely different operating system

Thanks anyway.

Depends when you purchased the system. In the last few months the Chinese government have clamped down on copyright infringement on their online marketplaces and the latest versions of Android devices no longer have the boot logo editable (unless you root the device).

The same even applies for things like wheel caps - these now come blank with the logo to stick on. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

Ahhhh, the unit is probably 6 months old, so that sounds like the problem. Looks like I need to investigate "root" access.

Strangely hypocritical that the Chinese are clamping down on copyright Very Happy
