L322 Tow bar Wiring

Hi, i fitted a Westfalia towbar as it was without a tow function. Wiring came with it but without fitting instructions. However, it appeared fairly straight forward. The mechanical side is good https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif,

the electrics should just be plug and play and it has the siemens ECU, plus the 8 pin connector that hooks into the receiver of the car, but cannot get it to work https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_sad.gif

It is the 13 pin version. Any thoughts or advice is much appreciated.

I should imagine the wiring kit would need to be coded to the car using a software tool such as SDD or GAP IID. 2010 5.0 SC Autobiography Overfinch in Bentley Silk White pearlescent, 22" Overfinch wheels with 285/35x22 tyres
