Rear view mirror settings. 2013 Vogue

I've checked the handbook for the purpose of the three buttons on the left underside of the mirror. Nothing there.
Could I have a quick explanation, thanks. 2013 SDV8 4.4 SE Luxor.
1960 Series 2 88 inch diesel.
1955 Series 1 86 inch petrol.

its an old system so probably wont work on todays stuff. ... - .- -.

Somewhere I read..... for adjusting the mirror, plus brightness. The mirror itself seems rigid. 2013 SDV8 4.4 SE Luxor.

They don't adjust the mirror !
They are marked 1 2 and 3
With the ignition on, if you press any one, a tiny light next to them flashes, but I can't see any changes.
Someone suggested a brightness control ? 2013 SDV8 4.4 SE Luxor.

They are Homelink 100% and nothing to do with mirror. I have 1 set as main gates and the other 2 as different garage doors.
