2008 3.6 TDV8
I think this started after changing the power steering pump.
Battery pre start-up 12.2V, 14.4V when running (i.e. all seems OK).
On first start-up, initially a whole host of errors (all algorithm based 'U' codes) accompanied by lots of bonging and lights (suspension, adaptive lights, transmission, park brake, the whole nine yards).
Re-start - most clear; re-start again, all clear.
After a short drive the airbag error is the only one to return:
(U3003-62 |28| Battery voltage - Algorithm based failure - signal compare failure)
I'm thinking I've maybe knocked/dislodged an earth somewhere or disrupted a CAN connection? Odd though that it clears quickly?
I've taken everything apart again at the front and can't see anything wrong.
Lot's of Googling and searching, but nothing definitive.
I'm kind of stumped and hoping the collective wisdom here can assist.
My only other thought was the n/s height sensor that may have got some power steering fluid on it, but cleaned it, put it all back together and seems OK - again, if this was faulty, I'd expect it to be a hard fault.
Thoughts anyone please - starting to drive me up the wall!
Thank you!
