I quite often leave mine in a locked garage for periods of time. What I’ve found is that if the car is locked it needs the CTEK, unlocked it doesn’t. Either way, it’s no effort. |

It won't do any harm to leave it connected but it could be a ball ache if you come back and it's flat for some reason, so if you've got one, I'd be connecting it |

I’ve had a CTEK connected to an old Land Rover for about a decade, only taken off very occasionally to give it a run - no issues. |
