Turn Alarm and Hazards off

My refurbed key ( RRUK ) is very sensitive and sometimes sets off my alarm and hazards if it catches my clothing as I pull it from my pocket which is no real problem apart from I can't silence it until starting the engine.

How does one normally silence the alarm via the buttons on the ignition key ? RR owner
