Anyone know where to find set for Rear ace pipes and how many hours labour would it take

My caution is that their service relies on you sending the existing pipes which attach at each end to the valve block or the roll bar ... on mine, those sections were getting quite rusty ... so despite a new hose, I would expect them to continue to corrode and fail before the hose would ... greatly reducing the effectiveness / longer term value of the parts.


* There is debate about whether the hoses would flex / slap when being worked normally. The ACE system can send high pressure into the hose very quickly, which could make the hoses tense and pull against their mounts. This sudden tensing could possibly make them slap against surfaces causing sound, or rub and wear against fixed points - I've not read to date on this forum anyone who has a) fitted hoses b) experienced first hand the slap.

I was going down the route of sourcing hoses for myself before Mikey sold me a set of pipes. It still sits on my mind about creating hoses as a small project / exercise.

It says in the listing.... "We can supply kits for all Range rovers With ACE systems." So hopefully they do them for the 405...  Pete

My mechanic spoke with them and they confirmed that they can do kit for L405 just need sending ends that bolt into the ARB and hydraulic distribution block and they will modify them
