Hello, I'd appreciate any thoughts on this please:
It's a strange issue: while driving, I'm getting an intermittent flickering of several dashboard warnings - including skid control and ABS, together with the resetting of the start/stop off (I usually keep it off, but when this happens it resets back on again), together with the headlamps themselves visibly flickering.
The whole thing lasts about 1-2 seconds each time, and happens every few minutes or so while driving.
At the same time, the (virtual) speedo needle suddenly drops to zero (which looks very disconcerting) but instantly picks back up to the correct speed reading once the "funny turn" is over.
The performance and engine power is unaffected - so I'm wondering about a dodgy connection or grounding issue? The battery is fine, and I changed it about a year ago.
By the way, this is in a 4.4stdv8 L405 vogue SE 2015/2016 model.
Any pointers about where to look first would be gratefully received!!

I'd suggest starting by checking the earthing points under the front offside wheel arch liner.

Seems to be a common weakness when electrical gremlins appear.

I may be wrong but I seem to remember reading about an earth point in one of the front footwells ?

Just in case anyone else has the same issue, I thought I'd circle back here and say it was indeed the ground point mount in the driver's side front wheel arch.
On the surface, it looked sound, but as soon as I went to loosen the nut to inspect it, the whole thing snapped off as it was corroded within.
I remade everything, and all the electrical gremlins were fixed.
