Is this Mahle Filter correct for my 4.4 TDV8?

I have used my last Mahle oil fliter and have been to Eurocarparts and bought a couple more but they are different part numbers.
The new ones are OX 153/7 D2, which when queried, I was told are the updated filter, exactly the same same but 4mm shorter.
Is this correct? Has anyone used these in a 2012 model 4,4 TDV8?

I’ve just had one delivered from Maltings last week ready for my next service this weekend and that is also an OX 153/7 D2 so guess they’re fine to use.

#2 Just to confirm, yes that is the correct item. V6 Vogue - “Less is More” - less to go wrong!
