It’s a while since I last saw the factory screen, reverse camera etc. because I have had my Inteldash mounted directly in front, but all removed and cleaned now ready for the new unit to be fitted.





Any tips on best CarPlay Apps to use for radio ?

Being an Apple user I find the following 3 apps useful. 1. Apple Music 2. Tunedin radio. 3. BBC Sounds. And Waze tends to be my go to for Navigation.

I tend to stick to google maps I have tried all the other options , waze I just can’t seem to get on with it and Apple Maps takes me different ways but that’s prob cus American based don’t now lol

Hi Lee - is this compatible with iPhones or Android only ? I want to retain my dual view TV, but have a more modern interface, so interested in whether this replaces the screen as well.

My blower motor will be swapped over soon, so I’ll have the dash apart and considering fitting something, but want a unit that’s tried and tested like yours.

Tony, I hope you don’t mind me adding to your thread, rather than starting a new one, but Lee arrived just after 7.30am today and the job is done, all fitted and tested by 10.30am.
Very happy with the service and will soon get used to using it.

I have tried various different methods to get decent sat nav over the last 10 years, from cheap Chinese sat nav’s via CarPlay on an Inteldash screen with exposed wiring, but today’s update must be the ultimate upgrade available for 2010/12 L322’s.

The screen quality really is impressive compared to the original.

Is that the original back up camera? Looks much better quality, always wondered if it was the camera resolution or screen resolution that was poor. How's the sound quality?

I thought I was happy when I got CarPlay working on the Intellidash unit, but allowing for your “YOLO” the extra cost to fit this unit really does take it to the next level.
