Took the car for a little blast last week, after going a little too fast I suddenly noticed a loud whistling coming from the roof.

This happens all of a sudden 5mph less no noise at all then all of a sudden you get this loud whistle.
I'm not overly concerned as this only happens at 100MPH which is way too fast to be driving.

I was just wondered if anyone else had come across this, my car does have roof rails, which I'm undecided if I like or not, could this be causing the issue. 2013 Vogue 4.4 TDV8

My roof rails are as noisy as f**k, especially if I don't replace the rubber inserts that lock into the channels on them. Current
