Can I suggest that if anyone knows the answer then they PM the OP as IMHO this is not the kind of thing we want on an open Forum.... |

because wiring location at topix is super-duper top secret knowledge. Known by Shaolin monks after 10 years of ascetic. |

The wiring is not the issue, the place for a splice is...... |

splice point in not critical. Doing thist to stay invisible and without marks of panels dissassemby. You can do that close to swich and will not look like someone modified something. |

this is just cutting start signal. You can easily bypass that if you know system. But... if thief will try to steal and button will not work then in most cases just leave car and look for other one. |

OK, so I’m just going to keep it simple and cut behind the push to start switch. Can anyone tell me which different wires here do what? I couldn’t find the push to start in the wiki section wiring diagrams.

Okay so, I found the wiring diagram for the Push-to-start switch (thank-you for a great wiki!), but still need some help. There are 2 hot wires into the switch for the Push-to-start system, not sure which one I should cut for the immobilizer or if I need cut both?

if you cut one, then in case of pressing start blocked car you will get start button circuit fail.

Jimmie, thanks. I will cut the -ve then. Do you know what the two different hot wires do, and which I should splice into for the other side of circuit for this immobilizer?

Yes, just cut the single yellow/green Push-To-Start switch -ve wire only. Also connected the immobilization system itself to both the a permanent and accessory live in the passenger fuse box. That was all necessary.
