Slowly but surely getting all my faults fixed. The next on the list is a fault code for the left front camera not having signal. While the front bumper was off I swapped the left and right camera to see if the fault followed the camera but unfortunately (or fortunately?) it did not so it appears to be wiring related.

I did notice that at some point in the past a new cable was fitted in the front bumper for the left hand camera but after changing between the original and replacement neither worked.

Does anyone know of a part number or alternative cable available to replace the replacement cable with as I reckon this cable could be the weak point since it has already failed once before. I was able to find a reference list from a Land Rover Technical Bulletin which gives descriptions and part numbers for the various repair cables available to replace any faulty loom sections.



With that I sourced an old stock cable on eBay going cheap (LR025932) which is the repair section for the cabin loom. The front bumper section I will need to get direct from Land Rover but I'm not in a rush at the moment to get it working so I'll hold off for a while. 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC

Was the bumper easy to remove? 2010 Supercharged

Quite easy.
Remove grille.
Remove enough screws to spring the bumper forward (The one behind the number plate is probably missing if the bumper has been removed before).
Reach in from side to change camera/cables, in your case, hunt the wires !

Left & right cameras are LR031814. Hope you never need them. Forty years of progress. 1972-2012
