Are you needing to replace the turbine shut-off valve (exhaust) or the compressor shut-off valve (inlet air)? The earlier version of the compressor shut-off valve is the one that gets stuck. L405 D350 SE Carpathian Grey D5 19" rims |

Wasn't sure if the correct terminology for it but that's the part I've to replace, your correct yeah the turbo shut off valve |

The new one may require a PCM calibration as the PCM stores the closed position which could be different to the old one. My son's 3.0 D4 needed a calibration when the turbine valve's closed position on a replacement engine didn't match the PCM which caused a restricted performance fault at idle. Good luck, I had to fix mine with WD40 and a cable tie on the hose. That was a nightmare to get to, let us know how you get on ! Hoping mine doesn't need replacing, trying to use the secondary turbo couple of times a fortnight now to avoid sticking |
