Received a letter from Marston debt recovery the other day stating my car was on the M6 Toll Road on the 19th Feb at 17.29! Not bad when I was in my kitchen in Scotland, cooking for guests! Couldn’t and still can’t speak to anyone at Marstons, fully automated service!
Spoke to M6 official, he got the video surveillance and low and behold, it’s a dark coloured Range Rover! I didn’t tell him what I drive!

I have a tracker on mine so can pull up the journeys for the relevant date to confirm where I was or wasnt - maybe worth while seeing if you can pull that.
unfortunately when they clone plates it tends to be for a similar vehicle so it passes cursory examination when it flashes on ANPR checks 2011 L322 Autobography - a lot of bells and some of the whistles...owner with no idea!

My son got a bill and a fine for not paying on the motorway with his motrcycle.

I rang them and said the bike is in the police yard in a town 500km away following his crash and death several weeks before he was supposedly ghost riding on the motorway. They cancelled the debt and fine.
