I was using Rimmer Bros, Island 4X4 etc, but since Brexit its not been cost effective to source any parts from the UK. There are not, to my knowledge, any EU supplier equal to that of the UK ones. I now get all my stuff from the LR main dealier…its cheaper and they seem to always have stock available within 24hrs, even when the JLR Classic website says they´ve no stock. 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster - Baltic Blue, Jet interior

Have you tried Autodoc? Various EU outlets as well as UK. John

I did. It says out of stock. However, i would like to find a store specializing in LR parts so that i can use their experience on different parts and manufacturers. Autodoc in my understanding is more generic in that sense. All the EU places i find (non JLR) are probably going to order the part from China as they state 10-30 days delivery |

That isn't true. I ship to the EU daily. It's retailers that cannot be bothered. They can also ship duty paid if they want to, so there is no customs delay. 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography in black 2018 D300 SE Velar in champagne 1982 Rolls Royce Silver Spirit in green Spiffing wheel centre caps, L322 sill repair panels, etc |

Living here in Portugal, I no longer can purchase from the UK, items over 150 quid become far too expensive due to the nazis who run Portuguese customs and delivery is delayed substantially from outside the EU.

I declare a lower value on most items to reduce the duties the recipient pays. For me, UPS seems to work better for Portugal. 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography in black

It is true. Shipping parts from the UK to Spain is now more expensive - this is first hand knowledge, lived experience. Trust me, I´d much prefer supporting UK businesses like Rimmer Bros. But when I look at a quote from the dealer vs the cost of buying from Rimmer Bros…its a no-brainer. 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster - Baltic Blue, Jet interior 1997 P38 2.5 DSE auto & 1998 P38 2.5 DT Manual 1988 Vogue 3.5 EFI - Manual, gone. 2004 Volvo C70 2.0T convertible, had since new. 2007 Mazda MX-5 2.0 Sport Roadster/Coupé, had since new. 2024 Mini Cooper S cabrio, JCW kit, 2.0, DCT auto |
