Radio turning itself off

G'day.
Im slowly overcoming the water ingress problems in my 2004 L322. I have got a new amplifier from Baris at Carphonics and have installed same. I have also found that my GPS DVD is stuffed as well. I still have it plugged in despite the fact it doesn't work. I have purchased another GPS unit which is hopefully on its way to me now. The problem I have now is that my radio, CD, tape and aux bluetooth are coming through the speakers but I have no screen. The other issue is that after several minutes the sound/music stops. I can press the button off and on and the music will return but only for another few minutes. Im hoping that when I reinstall the new GPS it will fix this stop/start music issue. Has anyone had similar? I have of course done the battery reset with no results and searched the forums for a couple of days and found nothing similar. Any guesses ideas would be gratefully accepted and tried. Series 1 1948 (oldest Land Rover in Tasmania)
