Advice please! I’m buying a 2018 SV Autobiography Dynamic

Hello, I’m just about to buy a 2018 L405 SV Autobiography Dynamic with 34k miles from an independent garage in the Midlands.

If there’s any specific advice I should be aware of, I’d be grateful for input. For example I’ve seen threads indicating that the power rear armrest needs to be checked.

Looking for any important information which will help when I inspect the car next week.

I currently own a 2011 Vogue 4.4tdV8 and a 2024 Autobiography P400.

Make sure everything works . Massage functions have been known to cease working .
Has any of the fancy interior kit been removed ? Remote for the rear screens / mirror in armrest.
Parcel shelf should be leather too, only realised after purchase mine had been pinched .
Any suspension clunks , mine also has a weird thump when accelerating, dealer thought it was arc bushes but replaced all 4 with zero difference .

Then get used to the absurd performance for such a big motor . They are mega , fuel consumption less so Rolling with laughter Mr. Green 2019 SV AB Dynamic Scafel Grey

Mine had all the removable bits removed and they are enormously expensive at list price to replace.

Pillows, cushions, handbook in a quilted leather wallet, remote for fuel burning heater, activity key, etc.

I got a build sheet direct from JLR that listed all the things that it was supposed to come with. The only one I have actually replaced is the remote for the fuel burning heater as it is useful.

service history and interim oil changes, looks low milage and short journeys really effect oil dilution. Using incontrol app I need oil changes 3-4K miles some owners ignore app and dash warnings and only go by 16.5k miles and 1Y whatever happens first
Is there extended warranty?
Oil cooler leaking?-smell of oil

My only advice is, as this is an early facelift car, make sure the two-screen infotainment all works. There were a lot of problems with blank screens, no satnav, no radio etc etc My problems took two years to resolve satisfactorily, and in the end a whole new 2020 system was installed, so beware!! All LR cars from 1984
