'SUSPENSION LOWERED' Error Message

So when i started the car up earlier, this message came up:

And also 2 lights on the height control section:

Happened a few times in the week, but when i turned off the car and started it back up it didnt appear. Today i turned the car on and off 3 times and still showed it (disappears after 30 seconds or so)

Twisting the height adjuster doesnt do anything (not sure if it even works when this fault doesnt show - will test it)

Any idea what the problem is? Just a glitch maybe?

See my thread over in the technical section but mine has now cleared. Did the same as yours and was very worrying as soon after the engines been running and you move off, all hieght lights go off!

I reckon its a hieght sensor problem so will need to check these out at some point as the car has recently had a light underwash with a jet wash at the local hand car wash place so this may have caused it...

Bit of a thread resurrection. Just to say this happened to my 2006 TD recently. It was in access mode when I left it and 6 hours later I started her up and got the "Suspension Lowered" message on the dash. The height controls did nothing and I had a 50 mile drive without the usual sensation of gliding on air.

Next day everything was normal.

I'm sure I saw something in the manual about the suspension lowering itself if travelling above a certain speed (80mph?) to aid stability. Perhaps it was having delusions of being a sports car when it was parked up.
