Hi Geoff,

Yes go for it with S&A, not much better value to be had, and it’s seemingly good oil, -since switching to S&A the last 3 changes, my annual lab oil analysis has improved noticably, however I do have to admit I did fit a new LR oil pump last year as preventive maintenance, so I recommend both! Out of interest do you know how long it is Ok to store unused for? For example if I purchase the 20l barrel of oil and plan on doing 2 oil changes myself 6 months either side of a main service is it Ok to keep an opened barrel oof oil for 12 months or more or is there a shelf life? Confused _______________________________________________

Google says 2-5 years, but probably longer for synthetic

Mine just arrived, i do two oil changes from 20l each a year apart. The indie will do the next one when it is serviced also a year apart from the last one that did. Geoff

Best I bin the 20 year old unopened oil I have at the back of the garage.
Any use for anything? Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc
