Cabin Light Timeout

If I understand the iGuide properly the interior lights should stay on until I close the doors or lock the vehicle:

Interior lights, except for the glovebox and the vanity mirror lights, illuminate automatically when the vehicle is unlocked or a door is opened. The lights extinguish approximately 20 seconds after all of the doors are closed, or when the vehicle is locked.

Mine are switching off after about 20 seconds when the doors are still open and unlocked. This means I don’t even have enough time to get one of my two kids buckled up in the back before it‘s lights out.

Anyone else experience this? Any known fixes? 2025 P550e AB

Yeah I have the same issue as well. Have you managed to work out how to fix this?

Afraid not. Still not sure whether this is correct behaviour or not since you’re the first to reply 2025 P550e AB

According to the online handbook, 20 seconds is correct.

I’m not sure if you can switch them on , if they go out after w0 seconds by just touching them Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc
