DrF, take the finishing trim off your bootlid. Care must be taken when you get to the clip next to the camera as the trim panels get narrower and are prone to cracking/snapping in half!

Once you've removed that trim panel you then just need to wiggle the camera out the same direction. Its only held in by its grip, no screws

Good afternoon all, Good news.....

Well, I have changed the camera and now works perfectly. I decided the easiest route in was via the inside of the tailgate, a lot less stressful than pulling the exterior trim and nice and easy.

So a couple of lessons learned.

1. Wear a head torch
2. Careful not to bend the mounting clips of the receiving surround for the white clip (if that makes sense!)
3. and probably most importantly, don't forget to take the rubber shroud off your old camera. Otherwise the new camera wobbles around like you know what. I know as put it in and had to take it out again.

With all the faffing around 20mins all in and works perfectly, calibrated straight away but driving up and down driveway several times and reversing into spaces.

I just purchased a 2016 LR4, I have the blue screen of death for the rear camera with Parking aid issues, sensors not working. I’ve joined this thread because I noticed Silverstone ask if the sensors were working.

I’m curious if there is a link between blue screen and faulty parking aid/sensors.
