United Kingdom 2018 Range Rover Vogue SDV6 Corris Grey

Thinking of buying from Hendy Eastleigh.
Can you say what was so bad
Gave up on Harwoods and Sytner now London
Makes buying very difficult

I'm on South Coast and last three cars have come from Group 1 Sidcup (London); Marshalls Newbury and Jardine Reading.

I think its less important (to me anyhow) where the location is of the originating dealer but the deal and the right spec is what I aim for. I only buy new but already in the system cars rather than a factory order.

Regarding servicing, I always used Guy Salmon (Sytner) Cosham as the service there was excellent. Since they closed, their technician has moved to Banbury's in Segensworth, Fareham. They are a JLR authorised repair centre who I have used for years with our company fleet for bodywork.

They can now offer JLR servicing and they use genuine JLR parts and have the correct plug in tech. They also have access to the master database to update the service records. I checked with my originating dealer and they confirmed JLR and the finance company are all happy with the arrangement and the warranty is all intact.

My car is booked in with them next week. All very convenient. No lavish showroom or coffee machine if that's your thing. Price was very reasonable too.

I have no affiliation other than I have always been treated very well over the past 10 years.

Sounds interesting, do you know if they have courtesy cars at all and can they undertake warranty work?
I’m very keen to move away from Hendy if at all possible so this might be an option as I work near to Farnham. Current fleet:
2020 McLaren 600LT Spider
2020 Mercedes C300 Cabriolet (sold)
2023 L460 PHEV 440 SE
2021 Toyota GR Yaris
1992 Lotus Esprit turbo
2019 Alpine A110 (French rubbish now gone)

I’ve not bought from Eastleigh previously, used Christchurch and Salisbury, now closed) and had a good experience with multiple vehicles.
Just be aware of the service department in Eastleigh, it’s shockingly useless. 6.5 months to fix a coolant heater so no battery power at all over winter. Current fleet:
2020 McLaren 600LT Spider
2020 Mercedes C300 Cabriolet (sold)
2023 L460 PHEV 440 SE
2021 Toyota GR Yaris
1992 Lotus Esprit turbo

My P460e is only 8 months old and at 5000 miles. Dash is saying service is due within 20 days. How can that be right? What are the service intervals on these? Thanks!

I just found out the following and it may be the case with your car as well

While I purchased my car in November 2024 with only 10 miles on odometer, it had been manufactured in May 2024 and a post delivery inspection (PDI) had been done then at which point the clock started ticking for the service.

So now in May 2025 my car displays service required as 1 year has passed, even though it's only done 3300 miles and I've only owned it "from new" for 6 months.

@Wise Luck

We previously had the same with an F-Type. We bought it 'In Stock' new in May, but its annual service date was in March. 2024 P550e Autobiography
