£50k buys a lot of repairs

Well WBAC offered me £9k for mine (probably could get a bit more). But a decent replacement would cost me upwards of £60k and of course not be a V8 (unless it's petrol). Should I stick or twist or simply wait until the new model drops further in price. Everything I see is D300 or D350 and it seems there might be issues with this engine although nowadays it will be a straight 6 not a V6 and I read that makes a difference.

Mine needs some pricey bits soon (2017) and mine suffered some hefty depreciation as it was bought tail end of Covid high prices (ouch). So I am stuck between switching to the facelift and go hybrid as my usage has changed (plus cba with adblue + twice a year servicing) for a huge chunk of cash, or spend a chunk of cash on fixing this and just keep going with it.

My mind changes weekly currently, tempted to stick and hold out for the L460 dropping further,

My son suggests waiting for an L460 because a newer L405 would just be the same as mine, I pointed out that there are quite a few differences but he dismissed them as trivial. Censored Audi driver. Geoff

Haha Audi driver. What does he know lol. I’m same predicament mine was bought tail end of Covid 2016 plate sky high price and due to mileage getting offered peanuts. I would like a facelift model 2018 onwards, also I’m wondering do I want a low mileage or a higher mileage one due to the fuel dilution sinario. As posted on here by others seems to be a bit of a problem so I’m torn. Mine gets oil changed every 6000 and I would like to think that everyone else does, but most likely don’t 2016 4.4 diesel

My upgrade plan for my 2012 4.4 TDV8 L322 was to only get a D350 L405, preferring the Ingenium lottery over the Ford lottery, which I did 3 months ago. L405 D350 SE Carpathian Grey D5 19" rims

I don't think I'm far from you, if you want to come and see the differences between yours and a 2018
