Ive seen a couple of pre face lift cars with the facelift headlights, has anyone done the swap? is it straight forward plug and play? do you get all the functionality?
Had a few months in a 2018 facelift and the headlights are far better than the current 2016 1972 Series 3 full of character

I have them on my MY17 but they were done before I bought the car, so I can't tell you much about the wiring.

The only annoying thing about them is that way they do a little dance and the daytime lights start off blue before going white. I think there's a way to stop this but I can't remember where I saw it. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Full facelift on mine, the pictured car is a 2015.

Everything bolts up if you buy a full front end (made sense to me as this one had been stolen and stripped) So when building back up I’d of had to buy everything anyway so made sense to facelift aswell..

IMO the 2018+ cars are so much better looking than the pre 2018.
