AC only cold on passenger side L405 4.4 SDV8

Hi All,

I noticed yesterday, that the AC ice cold on passenger vents but warm on the drivers side.

Ive tried to sync the AC to a single front zone and turned up temperature and then turned down but no effect.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Not ideal in this heat and I'm doing a lot of driving at the moment.

That's strange, ive just noticed it with my 2017 v8 as well.
Could it possibly be one of the blend motors ?
Should be able to check with a gap tool ?

Gap iid tool, look it up, very expensive, but will save a fortune.

Diverter valve failing. It sits under the fuel burning heater. Covered in this thread.

Or low on refrigerant.

Mine was cold on the passenger side only, so I had it recharged and it works just fine now.

Had similar in my l322. Drivers went warm first, then passenger and then rear. Regas last year and it’s ice cold now.

A regas would be the easiest first option to check. V8 or else ...
