Sleeping battery on 2014

Only bought my 2014 - so early, L405 in February and received a package today from JLR with a Faraday pouch and a QR code to get the sleeping batteries. I was quite surprised as I thought they were only providing these for newer L405s

Just had the same for my 2014 L494, guess they'll go in the drawer with the set for my 405, reportedly very short life span, so can't be bothered with them, I have faith in my Meta Traks. L405 SV Autobiography LWB SDV8, finished in Aston Martin China Grey by ETO division.
