Tdv8 A/C Hose JUE501130 (2-Zone) pin hole, Common Issue?

Hi all,
My L322 project also had an A/C issue that turned out to be a pinhole in the high-pressure hose from the condenser. Looks like wear—possibly from contact with the EGR outlet on the manifold. The hose is JUE501130 (2-zone), and I can't find the part anywhere (jlr says no longer available). Anyone know where I can get one, or if the 4 zone fits with some modifications(blocking the rear port)?

I’ve seen a few posts about similar wear, but nothing definitive. Is this a common issue?
Best regards
Martin

And if you don't have access to tig welding 10mm copper pipe x2 compression fitting cut out the damaged section and do a line repair.
Iv just done similar on my 5.0 sc but the leak was corrosion on a bend.

Thanks, for the suggestions, I will try TIG first ( My welding skills are not the best).. So if that fails the compression fitting seems like a good fix. My journey repairing the cheapest running L322 Vogue in Switzerland 240kkm model year 2007.

I fixed a leak on an old Granada with a product called 'Mends Metal' and it didn't leak for a further 7 years when I sold it. Worth a try?
