New tyres fitted, I went back to scorpion zero as they were so good on my last 4.4 and did go 285/45/22.

Ouch! I had a tyre go like that, although I didn't know until the blow out - maybe its a thing with Approved LR SVs!?! When it went the bong of doom sounded and Tyre Pressure Warning popped up claiming 26psi or similar then counted down about 2 PSI every second. I was having a lucky day as a layby appeared almost immediately and I was able to stop before damaging the wheel. But the wheel/tyre, once removed, looked very similar to your pic. I've since gone for the Verde All Season silents and found them to be very good so I'm sure your zeros will do the job. Mike - MPx
