Brake pads worn but they’re not

Changed the rear pads and discs on my new to me 2016 4.4 and found the broken wear sensor ty wrapped up out of the way, fitted a new sensor wire and all was well
A few weeks have passed and I now have the brake pads worn warning on the dash, I’ve pulled the sensors from the front and rear pads but it remains
Anyone have any ideas? Can I simply turn the warning off in the CCF?
