Memory seats not memorising

Good afternoon all,
First post so be gentle 😂
Recently purchased 2018 VSE however as title suggests I can’t get drivers seat to memorise
Unless I’m being dull
Set seat
Press M
Press desired number

that switch gear is a bit fiddly....

i have to 'rock' mine a bit to get a positive selection..

when it works you should get a confirmation on the speedo screen.. ... - .- -.
