I have just sold my L322 and would like to find an L405 to replace it with. I'm looking at the lower end of the market to manage expectations. Ideally I would like a Vogue SE or Autobiography but any trim level for the right car. I would prefer it not to be black as they are hardwork to keep looking nice but again the only colour I wouldn't consider is white, and I can't do a 4 seater so has to have 5 seats.

I would like a car that is totally standard, I'm located in the Northwest but will absolutely travel for the right car.

The perfect car for me would have rear entertainment and deployable steps, stereo I'm sure the standard would be fine for my needs.

One thing I am not clear on is the standard spec of each trim level. I assume soft close is Vogue SE onwards? Do all have Dual view screen in the front? 2005 E60 M5

Try to stretch to 2018 facelift.
As among other upgrades it has the better Ultra wide band security system which has cured the easy thefts that blighted the L405. Just the earlier pre 2018's are not so secure as they had issues trying to update their security. But getting a Ghost2 will solve that!

Thanks, I would love to stretch to a 2018 but that is not going to be in the budget sadly. Unless someone is willing to give one away! I don't want to finance or borrow to buy.

I don't think theft would be an issue where I live but these new sleeping batteries solve the issue with key relay, its exactly how my i7's keys work. 2005 E60 M5
