Oops probably posted in wrong section apologies

As in title I have DSS but passenger side a bit intermittent , all lubed up etc with good stuff but when it does eventually retract I will possibly deactivate , however no physical button or touch screen option to do so 2018 model ? Does it only come up in touchscreen when both steps are in and synched ?

Dont know about the facelift '18 ... but on the '17 its the last icon (about 4 swipes across the screen) to get to the steps and its got a power symbol on there (circle with a vertical bar in it) to toggle the steps on or off. Doesn't matter where the steps are physically - still get the icon and power on/off option. Mike - MPx

That’s the bit I’m struggling with on ,no screen can I find the DSS icon to turn on or off
Also no button down by right knee so not sure what to do
Luckily after another session of lubricants it’s working again
