Fitted a set of these this weekend - took around 3 hrs per side, mostly due to issues with fasteners; removing the sill splashguard is the most painful bit, particularly the mounts to the fuel tank splashguard (which reminded me of working on my 1980 Series III, they were so rusty).
The mounting brackets look very solid, and incorporate a replacement jacking point around 5cm lower than the originals, and slightly farther inboard.
Instructions supplied are a little cryptic (diagrams only, no words or videos) and weren’t entirely accurate (first step suggested was to remove the engine splashguard which wasn’t needed).
Did require slots to be cut into the sill splashguards to fit round the brackets, but after fighting with those rear fasteners, I was more than happy to take the electric saw to them
Everything else just bolts straight in. Worth stocking up on some HC1 and HC2 clips, as it’s highly likely you’ll break some when removing the sill and rear arch trims.
