Winch options....2007 TDV8

Hi all - can anyone guide me on this. I'm looking for a winch for the front of my L322. Mainly this is for boat launching in case of getting bogged in the sand or for winching the trailer from deeper water.

I've been searching on line, can see one or two options but I would be very interested to hear from any one who had fitted one.

Cheers

I have a Tiger winch from Superwinch fitted on my L322.

The biggest problem with fitting the winch on my 2005 model, was that there is no designated installation point for a winch on the L322. The shop that was installing it for me, had to fabricate a mounting point for the winch

i know you said front but have you considered those "winch in a box" ones that mount on the tow ball/hitch?

As previously said you will need a custom mounting plate not to mention possibly loosing some of the grill and or bumper. i'm currently looking at mounting the winch i had on my disco onto my Freelander, luckily muddy mods sell a winch tray that mounts behind the bumper/grill and all you see then is the fairlead and rope/wire/hook.

thinking about my fatty i doubt there is sufficient room behind the grill ti fit a full size winch discreetly but would be interested to see any pictures if you manage it
