Could be, it certainly felt like something was whirring away at a high speed. Is that normal and anything to worry about? |

Not normal as there should be plenty of airflow at M-Way speeds through the radiator without needing fan assistance. Maybe worth investigating further. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

A similar noise on my L405 was diagnosed as a wheel bearing in need of replacement. Only Range Rovers since 1988 |

It's a 5.0 petrol? so if I'm correct there is no regen on petrol cars? Sounds like viscous fan is getting tired. At higher RPM if its starting to get 'tired' it may be unable to keep slipping.
