So car has been sat now for a few weeks without moving as I was worried it might damage the vehicle keep running her. However started her today and had the noise clonking again. Ran it for a prolonged period and pushed accelerator to test. Took it for a gentle drive and god knows how but the clonking has completely vanished. I swear to god you have a relationship with these things more than you own them
So LPG now removed as said previously. Still seeing misfires on 1 bank currently cylinder 3 5 & 7.
Valve Recession seen as highlighted previously, I guess due to running LPG from when I had her re-shimmed. It didn't last long at all and I even had clearances extended to try and slow process down as well. Hey ho.
So looking to re-shim again but with no LPG running this time. I would just like to keep the ole beast.
However on the bright side the clonk has vanished. Fingers crossed for planned re-shim.
