Yes, it looks like they are in the wrong place. The metal plate under the plenum and EGR pipe (9J44A here) has 4 weird studs (HT1) holding it down, then two studs (6A957A) go on the front two studs. It looks like yours are on the rear two.

Thanks for your reply, I only purchased the vehicle 2 weeks ago so I’m finding my way around. I have it booked into a LR specialist in Dublin in a few weeks so I’ll mention this to them.

The thermostat sits below this plate, so it was most likely replaced at some point — but it could really be anything L405 4.4 Vogue

The intake plenum comes off as an early step for many things, so it could be anything engine related, including routine stuff, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. |
