IDCORE Android auto, sound over DAB

Hi all,
Apologies for numerous questions of late, but Range Rovers are something very new to myself.

I've had an IDCORE car play system fitted to the 2014 L405 and I'm pretty sure, initially, we could receive maps voice instructions with the maps screen on whilst listening to DAB. However now, for some reason or other, we don't seem to be able to do this. Is there a setting or something we should be looking for ? This is how we'd like to use the system if that makes sense.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
Many thanks

my aftermarket unit has to be set to aux, I dont get map voice instructions if its set to DAB you can set AUX in audio settings, I believe its in " my music" settings various other LR's this one is still the best

Many thanks for your reply. Is there a way of getting it to do it? Would be a shame as the original nav worked that way, means there will be no music whilst nav is on

you can play the radio using various internet radio apps,
I use globalplayer app or there is simple radio or loads of others,
you download the app to your unit, then select your choice of radio station,
it works with android auto just like the original OEM did, radio plays and cuts out when nav instructions are being announced,

the photo shows both working on mine ( ignore the message at the bottom of the screen) various other LR's this one is still the best

Thats a good shout thank you. Just wondering if there is another way if that makes sense? Maybe the IDCORE using the audio channel from the original Nav, I mean I'm guessing but would be good.
