Just realised how much stuff I have to take to Durham when #1 son starts Uni at the end of the month.

Was slightly taken aback when I realised I couldn't just bolt a roof rack on an L405 and add a roof box, so am now looking for roof rails, genuine preferred but would take aftermarket.

Could also buy cross bars &/or roof box in addition if the price is sensible.

What you got and what have you fitted that I should look at/avoid??

try predator roof rails and cross bars but factor in you will need to buy the 'finishers' from elsewhere (hugely expensive but black is easier to find than silver) which have the holes already cut in them to allow the rails to sit properly.

Alerttnatively if you have a tow bar, rent/borrow a trailer - carries more and easier to fit!
